The treatment involves a hollow ear candle being gently placed in your ear as you lie on your side in a relaxed environment. The other end of the candle is then lit and you will hear a gentle crackling sound as the ear candle burns. The candle creates a mild suction on the ear, which lets the vapour from the candle gently massage the eardrum and auditory canal.
