Waxing Treatments
Waxing is a method of removing unwanted hair from the root. The benefit of waxing is that new hairs will not grow back in the waxed area for up to three to eight weeks. New hair growth in the waxed area is soft and fine and with repeated waxing, hair re-growth is less common and eventually may cease.
Waxing involves spreading a warm wax thinly over the skin in the area for hair removal. A cloth strip is placed on top of the warm wax, and ripped off with a quick movement against the direction of hair growth. This removes the wax along with the hair and dead skin cells, leaving the skin smooth and silky.

- Do not undertake any other skincare treatments within 48 hours of having a waxing treatment
- Stay away from direct sunlight/sunbeds and heat e.g. hot baths, saunas for 48 hours after having a waxing treatment
- Avoid friction from nylon material or tight clothing.
- Keep skincare products to a minimum for 24 hours after waxing, then after 24 Hours it is vital that you use a good quality moisturiser such as Australian Bodycare Hand & Body Tea Tree Lotion - available at Truly Scrumptious
- Avoid using perfumed body lotions or creams. To minimise any risk of infection always wash your hands before applying the lotion. We recommend Australian Bodycare Antiseptic Skin Wash.
- For long term improvements, book-in for regular treatments and do not shave between treatments
- For in-growing hairs use an exfoliator.
